Feeding Photos
Daniel has started to eat some solids, but it's a real fan yet. He's had about ten "meals" now, and has only gotten excited about two of them. So far, he's had rice cereal, banana, pears and peas. He liked the pears with rice cereal the best (thanks for the tip, American Mom). He ate the banana with a little mesh thing. Very messy, but he feels like a big boy. We'll have to get a picture of that. The other big milestone is that he now holds his bottle for all of his feeding. Our little guy is getting so independent!

Sitting Around
A little birdie told me that I've been slacking on the job. In my defense, I had a fever and an off-the charts-headache over the weekend, and possibly another bout with mastitis. I had been feeling run down all week but until the chills came, I didn't get that I was sick. At least the worst hit when Niels was home. He takes such good care of me. He makes a 14 headache feel like just a 9. That's love.
Anyway, enough about me. Daniel's getting really good at sitting. He'll sit up for quite a while now, which is great because it tuckers him out! He's back to sleeping through the night. HALLELUIA!!! Here are a few pictures of our proud sitter:
A quick update
Jen was a bit under the weather this weekend and with her being our primary blogger, we didn't update the blog as we normally do. Fortunately, Jen is doing just fine so expect some updates either later today or tomorrow.
