Superbowl Sunday

Today is one of the unofficial holidays in the States, Superbowl Sunday. This year it's the Pittsburgh Steelers (not too big of a surprise) against the Arizona Cardinals (BIG surprise). We'll be cheering for Kurt Warner and his Arizona Cardinals for a variety of reasons:
- He's the NFL player of the year
- He's a Christian and not shy about it
- He wasn't even the starter that the beginning of the season
- He used to play for the Iowa Barnstormers (Jen actually saw him play there in college)
- He used to play for the Amsterdam Admirals (NFL Europe)
- He's playing for Arizona, home of my mom and Gramma
- They play in Glendale, AZ; home of the famous Dr. H....

We do like Troy Polamalu who's playing for the Steelers for his sheer intensity on the field, but the above stated reasons for Kurt Warner and the Cardinals will take preference for us.

UPDATE: Despite having 3 TD passes and 377 yards, Kurt Warner had to sit idle on the sideline and watch the Steelers make what ESPN called a 'monstrous, improbable drive' to score one final TD with 35 seconds left to win Superbowl XLIII (43). Here's a link to ESPN with the story.

Congratulations to the only team to win the Superbowl 6 times: Pittsburgh Steelers
