Applied for Daniels Dutch Passport

Yesterday during lunch we had an appointment with the Honorary Consul of the Netherlands here in North-East Ohio (in Elyria) to get Daniel his first Dutch Passport.

He already has his US Passport, but for his Dutch Passport we had to get an Apostille of both his birth certificate and our marriage license first. And then there is the little question of getting passport pictures taken that comply with the Dutch standard...

Long story short, all is done and in a couple of weeks we should get his Dutch Passport and he'll become the first documented dual citizen of the The De Jong household. His daddy will follow in about 2 years when he becomes eligible to apply for his US citizenship.
